Central States Indemnity Co. of Omaha (CSI) and its subsidiary, CSI Life provide traditional products such as Medicare Supplement insurance in much of the United States.
Since 1992, CSI and CSI Life have been members of the Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Group, and follow its practice of maintaining extraordinary financial strength. A.M. Best rating for CSI and CSI Life is “A+” (Superior) as of 9/29/17, independently.

No waiting period for pre-existing conditions, covered from the time the policy is in force. Household discount available in some states, states differ in requirement and availability.
Online e-Application is a useful and effective method to submit new business applications by filling out the forms electronically, may vary by state and by company. The CSI and CSI Life e-App are identical. E-Application status, policy lookup and commissions can be checked on the Agent home page.
Applicant can login and sign electronically with access to email/internet after viewing documents online; if no email accessibility, applicant can sign the printed documents and the wet signed documents can be uploaded, faxed or mailed; if email is accessible, the documents can be delivered to the client via email and ‘voice signature’ can be provided via telephone.
