National Contracting Center (NCC) is a Medicare-focused Field Marketing Organization, or FMO. Founded in 1992, we have helped thousands of independent insurance agents and agencies grow their sales of Medicare and senior health products.
Great Southern Life Insurance Company (GSL) was founded in 1909, and in 1922 became the first American insurer to offer life insurance policies on children. Today they are a subsidiary of Americo, where they still offer life insurance and have recently expanded to offer Medicare Supplement insurance. According to the Americo website, GSL, “Manage(s) in-force life insurance and underwrite(s), issue(s), and manage(s) in-force Medicare Supplement insurance.”
GSL does not currently have a separate website, but information about the company can be found on parent company Americo’s website.

Medicare Supplement insurance includes standardized plans, regulated by the government, that are designed to provide additional coverage for other expenses not covered by Medicare. Medicare Supplement insurance policies give you the freedom to choose your healthcare provider. You can receive services from any provider whom accepts Medicare. Your policy is also guaranteed renewable; as long as you continue to pay the premium, it cannot be terminated.
-Hospital Part A: Covers hospitalization – Semi private room and board, general nursing and miscellaneous services and supplies; Skilled Nursing Facility Care – You must meet Medicare’s requirements, including having been in a hospital for at least 3 days and entered a Medicare approved facility within 30 after leaving the hospital; Hospice Care – You must meet Medicare’s requirements, including a doctor’s certification of terminal illness; Blood (First 3 pints).
Medical Services Part B: Covers Medical Expenses – In or out of the hospital and outpatient hospital treatment, such as physician’s services, inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services and supplies, physical and speech therapy, diagnostic tests, durable medical equipment; Part B Excess Charges – above Medicare approved amounts; Blood (First 3 pints); Clinical Laboratory Services – tests for diagnostic services.
Parts A & B: Covers Home Health Care – Medicare Eligible Services: Medically necessary skilled care services and medical supplies, durable medical equipment.
