WellCare Health Plans focuses exclusively on government-sponsored programs like Medicare and Medicaid. WellCare currently offers HMO, HMO-POS, PPO, and Special Needs Plans (SNPs).
WellCare SNP members can be sure of one thing: the quality of their healthcare is top priority. WellCare covers everything that Original Medicare covers and on top of that, other benefits have been added to help stay healthy. For instance, when urgent health care is needed, a conversation with nurses on call can take place. Nurse Advice Line is open 24/7 to help with every health question or concern.
Most Medicare Advantage Plans include a Prescription Drug Plan (PDP); Medicare Advantage-Only Plans never include prescription drug coverage. Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DE-SNP) must provide Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage.
