MAP rewards you for your production with flexible marketing dollars you can use for a variety of expenses.

 

With as few as 5 Medicare Supplement or Advantage apps in a month, you can start earning money that will accumulate. Use it for lead mailers, seminars, social media, technology costs, and more.

  • Qualifying apps include Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Medicare Supplement & Medicare Advantage sales count as one app.
  • Ancillary products, excluding life, final expense, and annuities, will count as ½ an app, earning a maximum of 2 credits per month.
  • January-September production is calculated on a calendar month-to-month basis. (Lock in Production) 
  • October-December production is calculated together as post-year-end results (AEP production)
  • Agent must write at least one (1) piece of MAP qualifying business (Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Qualifying Ancillary) within the past 12 months to remain active in the Marketing Assistance Program. Otherwise, the agent shall forfeit any unused marketing dollars.
  • To be eligible to earn or spend previously earned MAP, the agent must be in good standing with NCC and all carriers.
  • Funds earned during any calendar year(Jan-Dec) will expire on August 1st of the following year.
  • We do not pay out MAP money upon release. 
  • MAP balances can not be transferred to other agents.
  • Credits earned during a lock-in expire on August 1st of the following year. 
  • Any AEP map money earned must be spent by the following August. 
  • Any map money earned in the current year expires following August
  • Example: MAP money earned January through September 2025 expires August 1, 2026. AEP money earned in the calendar year of AEP (October 15 – Dec 7, 2025) expires August 2026. 
  • Any current MAP money, including AEP MAP FROM 2025, will expire Dec. 31, 2025.

 

Documentation:
Agent must submit itemized receipts for reimbursement upon approval. Credit card statements, unpaid invoices, or estimates will not be accepted.

What can marketing dollars be used for?

Marketing Dollars can be used for a variety of expenses, including but not limited to the lists below. Please be aware this list is not all-encompassing in either category.

Digital Campaigns

  • Social media ads, PPC, and email marketing.

Direct Mail Campaigns

  •  Postcards, flyers, and brochures.

Event Sponsorships

  •  Seminars, webinars, or local events directly linked to marketing.

Lead Generation Efforts

  • Purchased lead lists, internet leads, or telemarketing expenses.

Promotional Materials

  • Business cards, banners, and approved promotional items.

Technology & Equipment 

  • Items such as computer equipment or approved software that directly support marketing efforts

Downline Agent Expenses* 

Non-Business Related Costs:

  • Personal items (e.g., clothing, personal gifts).
  • Meals (unless they are directly tied to a client meeting and approved in advance).
  • Utility bills, phone bills, or car insurance.
  • Any expense not directly tied to a Medicare sales or marketing effort.

 

 

Borderline Items:

  • Any expenses that might straddle the line (such as certain types of gifts or entertainment) must go through a pre-approval process. Agents can submit their receipt for consideration, but with the understanding, it may not be reimbursed. 

 

*Must be for active use in Medicare sales and will be subject to approval on a case-by-case basis

Ready to Start Earning Rewards?

 To remain eligible, an agent must have generated at least one qualifying sale (Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage) within the past 12 months. Agents who do not meet this minimum will forfeit unused MAP money. 

Participation requires that agents remain in good standing with both NCC and all associated carriers.
