Aetna AHIP Certification 2021 Explained
- New in 2021: Aetna MA/MAPD and SilverScript PDP certifications can both be completed through the same portal.
- Aetna certification for 2020 will remain available through June 28, 2020. Certification for 2021 opens on July 1, 2020.
- Passing AHIP does not reduce the number of Aetna test modules.
- Passing score is 90% for Aetna courses and 90% for AHIP.
- 3 attempts for Aetna courses and 90% for AHIP.
- 2021 certs will cover the remainder of 2020.

AHIP Certification 2021 - Aetna Cost & Discount Information
- Certification through Aetna’s portal includes AHIP at a $50 discount, bringing the cost to $125.
- Go to https://firstlook.aetna.com.
- Click the “Login” button.
- Enter your Producer World username and password. Click the “Login” button.
- Passing AHIP does not reduce the number of Aetna test modules.
- Passing score is 90% for Aetna courses and 90% for AHIP.
- 3 attempts for Aetna courses and 90% for AHIP.
- To receive renewal commissions starting in January agents must complete certification by December 31, 2019.
- 2020 certs will cover the remainder of 2019.
