Our Medicare Agents Order the Right Leads at the Right Times

Right now, for example. As we gear up for AEP, now is the time to order your leads. Most leads are first come, first served, so if you sit on lead ordering, you may not have much luck finding quality leads in your area. Medicare agents who practice timely lead ordering are seeing big growth year-over-year. No matter what leads you decide to order, work, or focus on, rule #1 is don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Focus on multiple lead sources, marketing yourself online and offline, and always, always ask for referrals!

Your client is another Medicare agent’s lead! Successful agents remember that and keep in touch with their clients throughout the year. From checking in with a client after a Medicare sale to make sure they don’t have questions, sending birthday cards, or just calling to reach out all of these things say, “I care,” and that is what will keep your client base loyal to you. Don’t forget to touch base with your book as we approach AEP, give them tips on how to avoid Medicare fraud, let the know you’re going to reach out and review their coverages with them, overall just make sure they are happy with their service and their plans. After all, you can’t grow your sales unless you keep your base intact – not to mention that happy clients give referrals.

It’s been a long time since seniors were thought of as not tech-savvy. These days they’re using their phones to voice search for the services they need online. The agents they’re finding are the ones seeing big growth in sales. When it comes to social media, seniors are actively on Facebook and Youtube, so meet them where they are! When you’re looking for information online, you research and look for credibility, seniors are doing the same thing. Make sure you’re branding yourself how you want to be seen, your presence is professional, and you are actively responding to outreach.

Marketing your business digitally is increasingly important, but it hasn’t replaced on-the-ground marketing by a longshot. Medicare Seminars, networking, and all of the traditional methods still apply, and with great success, especially when you use your digital efforts to publicize your offline marketing. A lot of agents are teaming up with local offices to set up a table and be a resource for those with Medicare questions. When it comes to marketing yourself online, we tell you to meet your clients where they are, the same goes for offline!
